Jim Allen founded Creative Imaging Group in 2001 to fill a need in the Maine business market, which lacked a truly customer-focused printing solution. There were, and still are, several customer-oriented high-quality printing companies, but Jim wanted an approach that stopped at nothing to get his clients what they needed.

The model was simple. Build a company based on expertise, not on equipment. Use that expertise to find the right solution for the client’s need. And use the collective buying power of all clients to attain competitive price points.

And it worked. The company grew quickly and now serves all of northern New England. Jim continued to add only the best of the best to handle all aspects of the business. And everyone—from Jim to the front office to the sales and production staffs to the distribution staff—works with the same philosophy.

We are committed to getting you what you need, when you need it—while working within your budget. Our effort and commitment to meeting your needs are unmatched in the marketplace.

This philosophy, though, can apply to more than just printing. And soon clients were asking what else Creative could do for them. The answer came easily: “What do you need?”

Some clients needed warehousing and fulfillment services, so Creative added a warehouse and staff.

Some clients needed “logowear” and corporate giveaways, so Creative added apparel and promotional products.

Recently clients have been asking for “advertising agency” services, so Creative added internal staff to provide expertise in strategic marketing, advertising, and design.

So what’s next for Creative Imaging Group? Well that all depends on one thing. What do you need?
